Attraction:- Built in the year 1997, The National War Museum is one of its kind landmark in Pune. Express Citizens' Forum was behind the idea for establishing this museum and subsequently it was converted into reality. Everyone, from common citizens to corporate honchos, contributed wholeheartedly in building the museum. Today, the memorial stands 25 feet tall and is worth visiting on your Pune trip. Being a popular tourist attraction, the museum draws a lot of visitors everyday who wish to know more about the Indian army and soldiers. One of the major highlight is a MIG 23 BN (used in Kargil War) which is on a display for visitors.
