Ayodhya Hills(Beautiful Place) In West Bengal

The beautiful Ayodhya Hills is a part of the Dalma Mountain range. It is situated on the boundary of Purulia district and Jharkhand.  A visit to beautiful waterfalls, deep forests, tribal villages, Gorshabru and Mayur hill are sure to captivate your senses. The presence of a variety of wild animals in the forests makes this place more adventurous. 

It is a popular place for young mountaineers to learn the basic course in rock climbing. There are two routes available to reach Ajodhya Hills. One is via Jhaldaand the other one is via Sirkabad. There is a Forest Rest House here. Gorgaburu, Mayuri etc. are of the some of the peaks of Ajodhya hills range.

Location:-The place can be reached by car from Purulia and Birbhum stations. The Hill is 282 KM Away from Kolkatta. You can plan your Weekend Outing.

How To Go:-

Nearest Airport is Kolkotta.

Nearest Railway Station is Puruliya  Junction.
