The temple belongs to lord Palasnath, the temple is about one thousand years old.
The temple is now submerged under the backwaters of Ujani dam.
This temple remained submerged in Ujani Dam water since Dam’s construction in 1975 until 2006.
Due to much less rain & drought,low dam water level made temple reappear to surface.
